Being an SGAWC member has many advantages: bus trips to IVV walks in and out of Germany at reduced prices, pre-registration at IVV walks, group prize raffle at monthly meetings and purchasing of club merchandise at reduced prices. One of the biggest advantages is German-American friendship! The club is a good vehicle for learning about our host nation.

Military augmentees are encouraged to join early in their tour and take advantage of the club's great member-only bus trips. New and current members and non-member augmentees also wander local walks with members every weekend. Wandering is a great way to see the real Germany!
